Why EDMdesigner App come to an end
We started EDMdesigner in 2014 and it was the first drag-n-drop email builder of its kind.
While the technology behind the EDMdesigner application is still up-to-date the app itself reached the end of its lifespan.
Meanwhile, our team poured countless hours of love and labor into our new project, to make a flexible, seamless, comprehensive email builder the email industry deserves. This new project is Chamaileon.
How do I move (migrate) my emails from EDMdesigner to Chamaileon?
We'll email our paying customers to assist them in the migration process. If you are a Free user of EDMdesigner.com your email(s) can be easily imported by yourself by using the email HTML import function of Chamaileon.io. Chamaileon has a 14-day Free Trial, try it out with your EDMdesigner edited email.
What will happen with my account, emails, and images created/stored in EDMdesigner.com?
From June 30, 2022, the EDMdesigner application will be inaccessible. It means, that you will no longer be able to access app.edmdesigner.com. All the emails, images, templates you did not export or download before June 30, will no longer be available, we'll archive, then delete the database containing them. User accounts (and any user data, email addresses also) will be erased from EDMdesigner servers too by June 15, 2022. Three (3) months later, on June 15, 2022, the image hosting of the EDMdesigner.com application will be shut down, so your email campaign images served by EDMdesigner will not be displayed to email recipients.
What should I do to make sure my data is preserved or deleted?
In case you aim to preserve your emails and images served from the EDMdesigner Application CDN, we invite you to try Chamaileon today! We promise it will make your email creation workflow easier and more enjoyable!
If you aim to delete all your data, log in to your account and delete your email(s), images, and then user account but those will be automatically erased after we shut down the application.
